 Volunteers in the Park Program.  HRM and the Point Pleasant Park Advisory Comittee are looking for groups interested in volunteering for work programs in 2012.

Project Notice September 26, 2011:

From Monday, September 26 until approximately October 31 resurfacing of the lower parking lot will take place. 

The scope of work consists of the removal of existing asphalt, installation of new asphalt, pavement markings, new concrete curbing, new sidewalk, new light fixtures, new site furnishings, tree planting and associated reinstatement. 

During construction there will be no parking around the Shakespeare By The Sea building. Pedestrian traffic will be directed around the construction area.


The kiosk at Black Rock Beach now includes an interpretive display on the history of the area. Please stop by and check it out!

Coyote's are managed under the provincial Wildlife Act.
