Forest Work Plan

 PPPFWP2008

Background

The Point Pleasant Park Forest Work Plan identifies and etablishes the existing condition of the Park's forest stands and provides recommendations for the work needed to meet the intent of the Point Pleasant Park Comprehensive Plan.

Five forest managment areas are identified and a variety of forest management tools are suggested to help direct the growth of the forest.

Recommendations are also provided for management practices around wetlands, cultural resources, trails, and invasive species.

The comprehensive plan and the forest work plan will assist in the direction and management of the Point Pleasant Park forest now, and for generations to come.
