Summer 2010 Forest Work

HRM Urban Forest crews & Park staff will be planting trees and native shrubs in various parts of Point Pleasant Park this summer.

The work is being done in keeping with the forest management guidelines set out in the Point Pleasant Park Comprehensive Plan and the Point Pleasant Park Forest Work Plan.

Visitors are asked to respect the ecology of the forest by keeping to established roadways, trails, and footpaths.

Please avoid walking off-path & take extra care in locations where signs indicate forest regeneration areas.
