Halifax Regional Muncipality is a proud sponsor of the Shakespeare by the Sea company. For seventeen magical seasons the troupe has been performing the Bard's tales in the forest, against the backdrop of our historic forts and batteries. As well as Shakespeare's famous plays, Shakespeare by the Sea performs family-oriented matinees. Summer 2010 Performances-- New Location! Attendence Tips - Performances are free-of-charge, but a $15 voluntary donation per person is suggested, and greatfully received.
| - Evenings can get chilly at Point Pleasant Park. You may wish to pack an sweater or blanket for your comfort.
| - Later in the season performances finish after sunset. You may wish to pack a flashlight for the walk back to the parking lot.
| - The performance location at Prince of Wales Tower NHSC is a 15 minute walk down Cambridge Drive from the Tower Road parking lot. We advise you to arrive early for best seating.
| - Seating is unreserved and on a first come, first seated basis. Come early for best seating opportunities.
